Not all new software integrations are a nightmare. The transition to a content management system (CMS) is non-intrusive. It does not impose any network outages or impede daily operations. Customized to accommodate a law firm’s unique communication requirements, the most daunting tasks are selecting the appropriate features, organizing a comprehensive outline, determining security measures, and strategizing new operational efficiencies.
As for the learning curve, CMS programs are intuitive. So, team training is minimal. It’s the functionality and design decisions that attribute to the consumption of time. Legal partners and associates don’t always have the same vision for functionality. But, it’s nothing that an experienced CMS design company can’t resolve. So—in the end, the concept is a matter of time.
